The Well Brew is an independent supplement review blog for everyday adults in the United States. We take one product at a time, read the fine print slowly, and explain what we found in plain words. Think of it as a calm friend who has read the whole label so you can decide with a clear head.
We do not sell supplements. We do not run a clinic. We read, check sources, do the math and write it down.
Why this site exists
Supplement marketing moves fast. A video promises a lot, a timer counts down, and a bottle seems to cost less than it does. Most people do not have an evening to spare for chasing down the label, looking up studies and reading the refund terms. We do that part for you.
Our goal is simple: when you finish a review, you should know what is in the bottle, how much of it, what the research does and does not show, what to watch for, and what the product will really cost you over a month or two.
What a review checks
- The label. Every ingredient, its form and its amount per serving, plus any blend that hides the amounts.
- The doses. How each amount compares with the doses used in published human studies.
- The research. What kind of evidence exists for each main ingredient, graded on a simple four-step scale.
- Safety. Known side effects, drug interactions and groups who should be extra careful.
- Real cost. Price per bottle, per day and per month, including shipping and the usual bundle offers.
- The fine print. Refund window, return rules and any auto-ship or subscription at checkout.
Each review ends with pros, cons and who the product may suit. You can read the full method on our how we review page.
Who writes the reviews
Maya Ellison is the Reviews Editor and the one person behind The Well Brew. Maya researches, writes and checks every review on this site.
Maya is not a doctor, dietitian, nurse or pharmacist, and holds no medical credentials. That is why our reviews stick to what can be checked: the label, the published research, official safety information and the seller’s own terms. For anything personal about your health, please talk with a clinician who knows you. Our medical disclaimer explains this in more detail.
How we make money
Some links on The Well Brew are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission from the seller or its affiliate network. You do not pay extra. Commissions never decide what a review says, and a product with a high payout gets the same checks as any other. Our affiliate disclosure has the details.
What we stand for
- Simple explanations. We write for a busy adult, not a lab. Terms get explained the first time they show up.
- Sourced claims. Health statements link to a study, a government source or the product label.
- Honest about limits. When research is thin, small or done in animals, we say so plainly.
- Real cost first. We show what you will actually pay over time, not just the sale price.
- No scores. We never give star ratings, scores or numbers out of 10. You get pros, cons and who it suits.
- Reader-first. If a fact helps you and hurts a sale, the fact stays in.
