The Well Brew is a free, independent site. To keep it running, we earn money through affiliate links. This page explains how that works, in plain terms.
The short version
Some links on our site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same as it would be without our link. Commissions never change what we write.
Networks we work with
Many supplements sold online pay their partners through affiliate networks. We may earn commissions through networks such as ClickBank, BuyGoods and MaxWeb, and through similar programs or direct deals with sellers. The network or seller tracks the sale and pays us a share.
How to spot an affiliate link
- Affiliate links are marked with rel=”sponsored” in the page code, as search engines ask.
- Buttons and links that send you to a seller’s checkout or official site are usually affiliate links.
- Many of our affiliate links pass through a short redirect on our own domain before reaching the seller.
- Reviews that contain affiliate links include a short note near the top saying so.
What commissions do not change
- Which products we review, and what the review says about them.
- The evidence grades, safety notes, cost math or refund details.
- The pros and cons. A product with a high payout gets the same checks as one with no payout.
We never give scores or star ratings, paid or unpaid. Read more in our editorial policy and on our how we review page.
Prices, orders and refunds
We do not sell products, take payments or ship orders. Prices and offers are set by the seller and can change at any time, so please confirm the price and the refund terms on the seller’s checkout page before you pay. For order or refund help, contact the seller’s customer support directly.
Why we tell you this
The US Federal Trade Commission expects sites to disclose paid relationships clearly. We also think you deserve to know how a site makes money before you trust it.
